During the Fall of 2008, Sacred Heart Academy completed a Christmas Crèche that was then displayed at the Knights of Columbus Museum in New Haven, CT. This webpage is dedicated to documenting its construction and completion .

What is the Crèche project???
Sacred Heart Academy was given a grant by the Knights of Columbus, New Haven, to design and make a Crèche that depicts Christ’s birth in Hamden. We, along with one other school in the state, had the honor of designing a crèche which will be exhibited at the K of C museum every year in the Connecticut Christmas Crèche exhibit. The Museum’s plan is to build the collection every year by adding new schools and towns. Sacred Heart Academy’s crèche is one of the three initial exhibitors.
