Morality and Social Justice

If faith is not lived out through acts of love, it is nothing according to St. James.  In this course, we will apply the demands of our faith to the various evils afflicting the world.  Special attention will also be placed on the relationship between faith and reason - what faith demands for morality, reason does also.  Therefore, this course will require philosophical inquiry and a critical mind to examine moral issues such as the right to life, poverty, and objective truth.
