STYLE POINTS

Mathematical writing style that earns you extra credit  points on hand-in grading papers is known as style points.

You can earn up to 5 points at the beginning of the year which will be added to your quizzes, tests and Exams.  At a certain point which I will announce you will not earn points but lose points if the Style Points rubric is violated.

Rubric for Accruing 1-5 points on your quizzes, tests and Exams.

1. All work must be done in pencil

2. The original problem is written

3. All solutions have a neatly organized beginning, middle and an end. Just the answer is not acceptable.

4. All work is written legibly, logically and neatly

5. The final answer is blocked off.
